Thank you for your interest in touring the Shoreway Environmental Center! We are always looking for ways to improve our equipment and processes, and have just begun the installation of new, updated machinery. While exciting, this project involves major construction, major time commitments and major public safety concerns!
We are still able to accommodate business and organization groups that arrive via bus or single, large vehicle. Due to space limitations, we do not have space for multiple vehicles to park and tour access to certain areas of the facilities may also be affected by construction activity.

Businesses and community groups with a minimum of 10 people who are able to arrive via bus are invited to tour the Shoreway Environmental Center. This opportunity allows employers, employees, and community groups to see what happens to recyclables, yard trimmings, food scraps and garbage once they are collected.
Tours take place Monday through Friday as scheduling allows and last approximately one hour. Tours are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors should plan on arriving 10 minutes prior to the start of the tour time. Click here to view our tour requirements prior to your arrival.
